NewTqnia RAS proteins had been considered exceptionally difficult drug targets despite driving many cancers. The approval marked an important precision-therapy advance, not a cure: serious adverse reactions occurred, treatment was studied after earlier therapy, resistance remains possible and the price creates a major access test.
