Electric Propulsion
Spacecraft propulsion that uses electrical energy to accelerate propellant, commonly through electrostatic, electromagnetic, or electrothermal methods. It generally provides higher propellant efficiency but lower thrust than chemical rockets, making it suitable for long-duration missions and station keeping.
