Secret Scanning
Automated inspection of source code, configuration files, commits and build artifacts for credentials such as API keys, tokens, passwords and private keys. Detection usually combines provider-specific patterns, entropy checks and contextual rules, but ordinary passwords embedded in commands may evade format-based scanners.
