Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS)
A Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) improves GNSS by broadcasting corrections and integrity information derived from a network of precisely surveyed ground stations. Examples include WAAS in North America and EGNOS in Europe.
