Aviation Insider Threat
A security risk caused by a person who has legitimate access to aircraft, airports, operational systems or sensitive information and misuses that trust intentionally or under coercion. Controls usually combine vetting, access limits, reporting, monitoring and rapid response because no single background check can reveal every concealed intention.
